Staff of Uganda Air Cargo Corporation (UACC) have successfully completed Crew Resource Management (CRM) training, conducted for both flight and ground crew. The program was facilitated by expert instructors from Kenya Airways—one of Africa’s leading aviation providers—and focused on strengthening safety, teamwork, and operational coordination.
The CRM training is a key component of aviation safety and covered vital topics including effective communication, situational awareness, decision-making, leadership, and teamwork. Participants included pilots, cabin crew, engineers, and operations personnel—ensuring a holistic approach to building a strong safety culture across UACC.
General Manager Lieutenant General (Rtd) James Nakibus Lakara emphasized the significance of the training and commended the staff for their participation and commitment. “This training is not just a formality—it is a critical part of our mission to ensure the highest standards of aviation safety and operational excellence,” he said. “I urge all staff to actively apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired, both on the ground and in the air, to enhance the effectiveness and safety of our operations.”
By collaborating with Kenya Airways, UACC ensured that its personnel received industry-leading instruction aligned with international best practices. The initiative reflects UACC’s continuous investment in professional development and its dedication to providing safe, reliable, and efficient air cargo and passenger services.
